Not Ez

Not easy these days to be in the civil/public service.
'Heads are to roll' cos of failure to put in place processes...sometimes, 'it is not my fault' but because I am who I am, I need to face the music and be accountable.
I used to think that maybe, I can strive to be an MP one day. Now, I think twice. thrice.

I am also stepping into my new job with trepidation ...and I hope that I made a R(ight) and not W(rong) decision. Sometimes, we just need the nudge or courage to move forward. While I respect this man ...I hope I can be like him - ever so pesevering to take up challenges!

Not alone

He made the last statement which resounded well with me. I heard it before said in my current job...'You are not alone. We are here with you ...to support you.'
But in reality, one still have to face the battle or rather take a decision by oneself. That's what taking responsibility and ownership is all about.

He seems a nice guy but unfortunately, I won't have a chance to work for/with him.

Move on

I am likely to move on to a new job soon ...come July 2011.
I really pray that it is a right decision on my part.

I need to take a major decision soon, to determine how and what I want to do going forward. Yes, I am worried and I mustn't make a wrong move.

Happy but sad too.
